The Philanthropy Collective

The Philanthropy Collective was a collaborative vision from local philanthropic leaders to generate positive social change in the community. The renovated 1935 building now provides a home base to ten philanthropic enterprises, who had previously been scattered throughout the city of Colorado Springs but always dreamed of a centralized location to learn, share expertise, and collaborate with one another. The design compliments the existing steel bowstring structure, wood barrel vaulted ceiling, and brick perimeter walls, with a centralized heavy timber and glass office core and two mezzanines. This new core provides a cascading canopy of greenery and breathes new life and sense of place into the space.
