The Springs Rescue Mission (SRM) provides various homeless relief services for the community at their campus in south downtown. A campus master plan was created to guide multiple phased projects towards a unified vision as many homeless relief services from around downtown were consolidated on their campus. Projects include converting space for a new intake center, converting a warehouse to additional shelter space, building a new 10,000 square foot commercial kitchen and dining building which also houses their catering and job training, building a new dog kennel, creating a secure campus enclosure to ensure safety, and converting an abandoned roadside motel into transitional apartments.
