Red Rock Church

KEY ELEMENTS:  religious / remodel /

This 20,000 s.f. renovation transforms a space originally used as a movie theater into a bright, inviting, family gathering place. Red Rock Church spent their first seven years as a “pop-up” church setting up and tearing down every Sunday in a rented auditorium. They now have an amazing place to finally call home.

When entering the lobby the overall clean, modern aesthetic can be seen through the use of natural & simple materials. This concept is carried through every ministry space, appropriately adjusted to relate to the intended age group.

Working closely with Red Rock Church, Echo Architecture, McShea Consulting, Clay Enoch, and Cameron Butcher) we were able to meet the extremely tight budget and time frame (3 months) and still create an exceptional home for Red Rock Church. The transformation is unbelievable, dramatic, and excellent. Everyone involved is well pleased and so proud of our work.

Location: Tiffany Square Mall, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Completion late 2013
